Deep tissue massage uses firm pressure to release deeper muscle tension. In using deeper pressure the goal is to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles). It’s used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.

Swedish Massage involves the use of hands, forearms or elbows to manipulate the superficial layers of the muscles to improve mental and physical health. Active or passive movement of the joints may also be part of the massage. The benefits of Swedish massage include increased blood circulation, mental and physical relaxation, decreased stress and muscle tension, and improved range of motion.
Body Work Focus Massage 30 + 60 Min
Body Work Focus Massage is a localized deep tissue massage to release restrictions and areas of pain identified by the client and therapist. This massage is also integrated with manual stretching to further the muscular release and create a lasting effect. The portion of time spent of stretching will be determined by the request of the client and the recommendation of the therapist. This is an excellent choice for those encumbered by nagging injuries, aches, and pains during exercise and daily activities.
Body Work + Corrective Exercise Focus 90 Min
Body Work & Corrective Exercise Focus is a localized massage integrated with manual stretching to release identified restrictions and areas of pain. The massage is followed by 30 minutes of movement and resistance training exercises designed to reeducate muscle and postural control thus creating long lasting relief from pain and restriction.
